Autumn Is here

Hello everyone, and HELLO AUTUMN 🙂

All the seasons are associated with some particular things, like winter is with snow, summer is with flip flops and spring is with hope, similarly autumn has a lot of meaning as well.

Autumn was my late mothers favorite season. After she passed away last year, I have started seeing autumn as a whole new thing, it is not only a season for me now. It is a feeling, feeling of love, of longing, of death and also of colors and comfort.

In this post I would like to share a few of my favorite autumn related quotes with you. I hope you like them too. 🙂

The Joy

“Autumn…the year’s last, loveliest smile.” ― William Cullen Bryant

The Beauty

“Autumn carries more gold in its pocket than all the other season.” – Jim Bishop

The Hope

“Autumn Mornings: sunshine and crisp air, birds and calmness, year’s ends and day’s beginnings.” – Terri Guillemets.

The Gifts

“Use the first day of fall: bright flame before winter’s deadness; harvest; orange, gold, amber; cool nights and the smell of fire. Our tree-lined streets are set ablaze, our kitchens filled with the smells of nostalgia: apples bubbling into sauce, roasting squash, cinnamon, nutmeg, cider, warmth itself.” – Shauna Niequist.

The Sorrow

“Why is summer mist romantic and autumn mist just sad?” -Dodie Smith

The Death

“If life is nothing more than a journey to death, autumn makes sense but spring does not.” ― Craig D. Lounsbrough

These are all the shades of beautifully gloomy and remarkably joyful season, our lovely Autumn.

After all the gorgeous quotes I love. This one posted below is my all time favorite.
