Today I decided to post about gift ideas. Spring is approaching and most of us like to gift our loved ones something they love or is useful for them to celebrate the changing seasons. So I thought you could some of these ideas.
We usually see our friends and family members stressed out because of work, school, home chores or simply just because of routine. As we all know, giving a present to your loved one which can help them relax is always a great idea.
Okay so lets get going.
1- Journal: I am a huge writing supporter to bust your stress away. It helped me greatly and I can never stress enough on this idea of writing to reduce your worries and clear your mind. If your stressed out friend is in to writing it is the best gift you can give them. As I have mentioned earlier writing your worries and stressful thoughts helps your greatly to clear your mind and relax it also helps to think more creatively and brainstorm better solutions to your everyday issue or even bigger decisions.
2- Foot massage cream: Foot massage is the one of the most calming thing ever. EVER. I can actually sleep while getting my sister to massage my feet.Foot massage has been practiced in many cultures as it is closely linked with many health benefits. It reduces depression, helps you sleep better and relax. So, buy a foot massage cream, wrap it with a colorful gift paper and stick a small card on it. TA-DA.
3- Soft & fluffy blanket: Again, I have tried and tested this gift. I love my sweet, cute, plush blanket so much I might write a full post 600 words post about it some day. When the days are sad and blue I wrap myself in my powder pink floral blanket and sooth it slowly with my hand and this simple thing makes me happy and a lot more cheered up than before. It’s also a great way to show someone how much you care about tiny little things that can help them. The only thing I want you to keep in mind is when you go to get a blankie try and choose the of pastel and soothing colors.
4- Books: Forgetting your worries and drifting away in another world is a great thing to do for a stressed person. Now lets be realistic, we all can not afford to go to mars or leave our foot prints on the moon, but most of us can afford a good book, right? Books are a very useful gift for anyone and everyone and are certainly helpful to hush the fuss away. Self help books, cook books, novels, short stories and all the other form of literature can do wonders to your mental health.
5- Anything with Lavender in it: Literally anything lavender will do the trick. Lavender oil, lavender candles, lavender tea, lavender cookies, lavender hair color (or maybe not because it will not be helpful as there is no lavender in it). Lavender is famous for being the calming guy, it reduces anxiety, depressions, restlessness and stress. Even a gift of simple lavender plant to keep in there bedroom will be enough to do the magic.
6- Your Time: Sometimes things can be helpful to reduce the stress of your loved ones but there are times when all the gifts mentioned above will not be as much helpful as your time for your friends or family. Cook some Halwa (Recipes coming soon, relax), go to there house and talk to them till you finish your halwa (It will take almost 2 hours). And after your chat with them they will feel much much better, promise.
